Launched in 2019 IATA’s 25by2025 initiative aims to transform the aviation sector to make it truly diverse and inclusive.
With 217 signatories from across the aviation value chain, its signatories have committed to increasing female representation in senior roles and traditionally underrepresented areas by 25% by 2025. Already today the results are inspiring: the number of female CEOs has soared from 3 to 32, and female pilots have increased by 25%, with 1,000 new recruits joining the flight deck.
But 25by2025 is more than just numbers. It’s about sharing success stories, case studies, and best practices to inspire others to take action. IATA’s 25by2025 initiative fosters collaboration and showcases impactful changes, striving to make the aviation industry as diverse as the world it serves.
