HEAD OF DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AWARD
Mabinty Esho is a senior People and Culture leader with over a decade of cross-sector experience spanning charity, public, and education. Specialising in embedding Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) into strategy, governance, and culture, she has influenced board-level decisions and delivered systemic change that creates more equitable workplaces. As Head of DEIB at Comic Relief, Mabinty led the organisation’s three-year strategy, co-authored a Cultural Charter, and introduced an anti-racism leadership programme, contributing to improved cultural assessment scores and award recognition from the Black Talent Awards and Culture Pioneer Awards. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Cruse Bereavement Support and as a school governor, championing inclusive governance and wellbeing in education. Known for her resilience, empathy, and purpose-led leadership, Mabinty is committed to shaping environments where people from all backgrounds feel seen, valued, and able to thrive.
