2025 Shortlisted nominee
OUTSTANDING DIVERSITY NETWORK AWARD
Able2, BT Group’s disability and accessibility network, is driving cultural transformation by embedding inclusion into every layer of the business. Relaunched in 2025 with a refreshed strategy, Able2 empowers colleagues through four agile workstreams – Colleague Voice, Events & Communications, Able2 Champions, and Colleague Focus – ensuring lived experience directly shapes change. Backed by Executive Sponsor Howard Watson and four new senior co-sponsors, Able2 has introduced open Colleague Circle calls and fireside chats with senior leaders, amplifying disabled voices at decision-making tables. The network collaborates across HR, recruitment, and property to influence policy and improve workplace adjustments, while its intersectional work with other people networks ensures no colleague is left behind. From high-profile guest speakers like Kate Nash OBE, to safe-space listening sessions and accessible communications, Able2 has become a trusted hub for learning, allyship, and advocacy – modernising disability inclusion and strengthening belonging at BT.
