As CEO of ElectraLink, Dan leads a technology and utility services organisation underpinning the UK energy market, drawing on more than 30 years’ industry experience. Since becoming CEO in 2021, Dan has overseen ElectraLink’s transformation into a modern data, analytics and infrastructure organisation, supporting the transition to a flexible, low-carbon energy future. A passionate advocate for trust, inclusion and employee empowerment, he championed the UK energy sector’s first permanent four-day working week without reducing pay, alongside innovative initiatives like gender-neutral parental leave and the creation of a dedicated Diversity and Engagement team. Under his leadership, ElectraLink has achieved Best Companies’ 2-star accreditation, been recognised as Best Employer for Women for two consecutive years and significantly reduced its gender pay gap. Dan’s forward-thinking approach demonstrates that high performance and a genuinely inclusive, people-first culture can go hand in hand.
