Head of Diversity & Inclusion Award
Chantelle is a passionate inclusion leader committed to transforming traditionally underrepresented sectors from within. Her experiences as one of very few women, and Black women, in technical and engineering environments inspired her to turn observation into action, creating initiatives that challenge assumptions and widen opportunity. At Great British Energy – Nuclear, Chantelle has embedded inclusion from the organisation’s foundations, helping scale its workforce from around 20 to 312 people while maintaining strong representation, including 56% female and 17% non-white employees. She has championed inclusive recruitment, established and chaired the organisation’s D&I network, and helped maintain permanent staff attrition below 1%. Beyond GBE-N, Chantelle co-leads Women in Nuclear London & South East, which won a Regional Innovation Award, and founded a cross-sector women’s networks collaboration. Her leadership makes inclusion practical, measurable and sustainable.
