Diversity Teams Award
MAG’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team delivers the Every Journey Matters strategy across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports, supporting more than 7,750 colleagues and driving measurable, organisation‑wide change. Over the last year, the team has strengthened accountability, transformed colleague communities into strategic partners and embedded inclusion into recruitment, talent, listening and operational practice. Achievements include launching the UK’s first externally‑facing aviation EDI strategy, increasing community membership by 44 percent, introducing Kind Cafés that boosted inclusion for 98 percent of operational colleagues, accelerating neuroinclusion through the Neurodiversity Hub and Oasis wellbeing space, and delivering learning that increased neurodiversity confidence by 40 percent. With Aviation 4 All setting a new industry benchmark and contributions to national policy through ASIB, the team is shaping a more inclusive aviation sector where every colleague and every journey truly matters.
