Outstanding Diversity Network Award
Aviva’s Social Mobility Working Group is a lived‑experience‑driven network committed to ensuring colleagues never feel they must hide where they started to be valued for where they can go. Co‑chaired by Jonathan Keith and Lewis Hollingsworth, the network has grown from 14 members to 75, strengthened by clear strategy, disciplined planning and a regional model that empowers colleagues across sites. Through visible senior sponsorship, recorded leadership stories, Group‑wide training, mentoring, local action and practical guidance, the Working Group challenges assumptions about who belongs in corporate spaces and creates pathways for colleagues to progress with confidence. Its work has helped colleagues find their voice, build community and turn empathy into action. The network is reshaping culture at Aviva by making background a source of insight, not a barrier, and ensuring opportunity is genuinely open to all.
