Outstanding Diversity Network Award
The Army Multicultural Network (AMCN) drives cultural change, creates equity of opportunity and strives to improve the lived experience across the whole British Army – Ethnicity is a focus of the Network, not a qualification for entry. The AMCN delivers mentoring schemes, engages with senior leadership, advocates for individuals and consults on policy issues impacting the network members. The AMCN promotes inclusive leadership across training establishments, strengthens the Army’s relationship with diverse civilian communities, and honours Commonwealth heritage through remembrance and commemoration. Having delivered for the network members for over ten years, driven by the passion, initiative and commitment from a small group of volunteers, the AMCN has evolved from a support network into a strategic asset, improving cohesion, operational effectiveness and representation. The AMCN is humbled and proud to be nominated for the 2026 Outstanding Diversity Network Award.
