D&I Consultancy Award
The Community Inclusion Team at The Life Rooms is a specialist inclusion consultancy dedicated to ensuring people who are unheard, underrepresented or excluded can access the same opportunities, healthcare and support as everyone else. Acting as a bridge between communities and services, CIT meets people where they are and uses lived‑experience insight to identify barriers that often go unnoticed. In 2026, the team engaged people from 46 countries, supported speakers of 26 languages, delivered over 40 outreach sessions each month and maintained 100% referral performance. Alongside frontline support, CIT provides expert consultancy, training and advocacy to NHS providers, public health teams, local authorities and researchers, strengthening cultural competence and improving access to care. Their work drives system‑wide change, ensuring diverse communities have a voice, a choice and fair access to the support that shapes their lives.
