Arriving at Touchstone in 2012 amid a mental health crisis, Arfan found a supportive environment that felt like home. His rise from a junior role to CEO reflects his belief in the value of lived experiences. Inspired by former CEO Alison Lowe, Arfan turned personal challenges into assets, leading with a non-hierarchical approach and fostering an inclusive culture. His dedication to equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is evident in his hands-on leadership and direct involvement in EDI initiatives. Touchstone has earned numerous accolades under his guidance, including Top 5 national Charity ‘Best Companies’ to work for and Inclusive Yorkshire Business Leader of the Year 2024. Arfan’s leadership not only enhances Touchstone but also drives broader societal change.
