Elham, Chief Executive of the Year, has an inspiring story of resilience and leadership. Arriving in the UK as a young migrant from Iran, she fought to be recognised as a home student, showcasing her determination early on. After graduating, she began her career as a financial controller at GE, transforming business processes while completing her Executive MBA from the University of Warwick. Elham later held finance leadership roles at News Corp and EY, balancing professional success with motherhood. In 2017, she founded Migrant Leaders, a charity now supporting 3,000 disadvantaged young people. In 2023, Elham was honoured as a Coronation Champion, and in 2024, she published her book, “Migrant Magic,” advancing her mission to promote workplace diversity and social mobility in the UK.
