Happy Smiles Training is a locally-led social enterprise, founded in 2019 by a disabled person to address the undervaluing of disabled people and challenge the stigma they often face. With a team composed of over 90% disabled people and 80% women-led, we empower local disabled individuals to lead positive social change. Using their lived experiences, our team delivers impactful training and projects to schools, community groups, and businesses.
Since inception, we’ve trained over 20,000 people, collaborating with global brands like Levi’s. Recognised nationally, we are on the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 list and have received support from leaders like Isaac Harvey MBE and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Our commitment is reflected in our workforce, with one saying, “My disability used to be the worst part of my life, and now it is the best, thanks to Happy Smiles.”
