HSBC Ability UK, stands out as a pioneering diversity network, recently achieving Carers UK Ambassador status, a mark of exceptional support for carers. Celebrated for its commitment, HSBC Ability UK actively supports over 800 carers through initiatives like “Coffee for Carers” and “Parent Carer Connect” sessions, and facilitates cross-industry events on topics vital to carers. The network excels in promoting physical health, with over 1,000 workplace adjustments and impactful events for International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It champions neurodiversity through global events and collaborations, including neurodiversity recruitment initiatives. In mental health, HSBC Ability UK held 61 events in 2023, reaching 3,500 colleagues and expanding its Mental Health First Aider programme. The newly renovated HSBC Sheffield Branch exemplifies inclusivity, reflecting the network’s commitment to accessible, sustainable design.
