Founded by Lisa Whitehouse in 2016, Interculture Training & Events is a Community Interest Company based in St Pauls, Bristol, focused on improving intercultural communication and awareness for underprivileged communities. Offering both virtual and in-person events, their mission is to break down cultural barriers and create safe spaces for dialogue on key issues. Interculture hosts workshops and panels on allyship, ADHD, white privilege, and intersectionality, featuring a range of speakers. They aim to diversify spaces by including disabled and marginalised groups, promoting relevant projects through their network. Events include spoken word, comedy, and art exhibitions, with recordings available for future reference. Interculture recruits volunteers and staff with lived experience to grow their team’s inclusivity, fostering community cohesion and intersectional awareness.
