My name is Apostle Fred Osei Annin, I am 70 years. I am the founder and CEO of Actionplus Foundation an HIV Advocasy Organisation with it’s Headquarters based in the UK and Branches based in Ghana, Kenya and Uganda. I am the first preacher to set up HIV Testing Centres in churches where there was no place to entertain people living with HIV because of lack of the lack of knowledge therefore creating HIV stigma and discrimination. Which many to loose their lives because of the bad treatment they experienced after their diagnosis. The model I created for HIV intervention in churches called “Take Action Now” enabled the church to embrace HIV testing, Care and support, therefore enabling people living with HIV to receive the much needed benefits of HIV testing including HIV prevention. This Action has broken stigma in the church and enabled many lives to be saved. Many churches are replicating this model to increase HIV prevention globally. This Action has made me to become a multi Global HIV Award made to become one of the leading HIV champions Globally. A multi global Award Winner, winning Awards locally Nationally and Internationally. Both in Africa and Europe.
