Clear Assured, developed by the Clear Company, is an evidence-based DEI and culture accreditation platform designed to help employers move from inclusion intention to measurable action. It was created in response to a persistent challenge across the world of work: many employers understand the importance of inclusion, but struggle to embed it consistently across hiring, culture, leadership, policies, employee experience and supply chains.

Clear Assured gives businesses a structured, practical and accountable way to build inclusive practice. The platform combines a digital roadmap, real-time progress tracking, expert-approved resources, advisory content, independent assessment and human consultancy support. This means clients are not simply asked to declare their commitment to DEI. They are guided to evidence meaningful progress, identify gaps, take practical action and demonstrate impact.

The initiative reflects the Clear Company’s long-standing belief that awareness of bias is not enough. To create fairer outcomes, employers need to remove barriers, improve decision-making, strengthen inclusive capability and build processes that benefit people who have historically been marginalised. This is particularly important in recruitment, where hiring systems, networks and subjective processes can either widen access to opportunity or reinforce exclusion.

Clear Assured was built to address this at scale. It helps employers structure and deliver DEI and culture activity with confidence, engage internal stakeholders through clearer ownership and accountability, evidence progress for bids, tenders and reporting, and maintain momentum through expert-led guidance. Recent platform enhancements include project management functionality, simplified progress trackers, AI chat functionality to help users navigate expert-approved advisory content, and the ability to create certificates of authenticity for bids and tenders.

What makes Clear Assured distinctive is its blend of technology and expertise. The platform provides ease, structure and visibility, while the Clear Assured and wider Clear Company teams provide expert consultancy, independent verification, training, auditing and additional support where deeper intervention is needed. This combination makes the initiative both scalable and credible: clients can manage their journey digitally, while still benefiting from the judgement, challenge and guidance of experienced DEI specialists.
The impact is already visible across major employers. Mott MacDonald reached Clear Assured Platinum accreditation in 2026 following a comprehensive review of submitted case studies and interviews with senior leaders and employees. The assessment identified strong evidence of leadership accountability, innovative talent and wellbeing programmes, and sector influence through best-practice sharing. Its men’s mental health campaign saw EAP calls from male colleagues increase from 27% in Q2 2024 to 35% in the quarter after launch and 37% in the following quarter, while more than 500 webinar attendees took part and over 90% agreed they were more likely to discuss mental health afterwards.

The platform has also supported practical change in recruitment and workplace inclusion. PageGroup, which joined Clear Assured in 2019, used the framework to sharpen its disability and race inclusion activity, redesign recruitment processes to mitigate bias, complete accessibility reviews, introduce workplace adjustment support, progress to Disability Confident Leader status, and create a DEI Client Solutions team to help clients improve inclusive hiring.

Lloyd’s of London used Clear Assured as a transformation framework to redesign talent, culture and leadership practices, including structured hiring processes, inclusive behaviours, accredited training for over 400 hiring managers, and technology to improve accessibility and candidate experience. Reported outcomes included Inclusion scores up +5, Psychological Safety up +6, female representation reaching 53% across the Corporation, ethnically diverse representation reaching 23% of employees, and a 25% reduction in headcount costs through improved hiring quality.

Clear Assured is proving that DEI technology can be more than a tracking tool. It can be a catalyst for culture change, allowing businesses to turn complex inclusion goals into tangible action, measurable evidence and recognised achievement. Through the platform, clients are able to strengthen accountability, build capability, demonstrate credibility and create more inclusive workplaces with lasting impact
