Diana Podlewska Monteiro and Allison Fox | Leighton Buzzard, UK

We work together within Bupa’s Inclusion team, combining Allison’s leadership as a manager with Diana’s role as an Inclusion Partner to drive more equitable, accessible and inclusive experiences for colleagues across the organisation. Our work brings together strategic direction and practical delivery—partnering with senior leaders to embed inclusion into decision-making, leadership and everyday colleague experience.
Our journeys into inclusion have been shaped by a combination of lived experience and professional insight. Between us, we’ve seen both the impact of inclusive environments and the barriers that can prevent people from thriving. This continues to influence our approach, grounding our work in both empathy and a focus on meaningful, practical change.
Together, we have led and supported a range of initiatives to improve access and opportunity—from delivering disability and neurodiversity learning for leaders to project managing the Change 100 internship programme, helping to open pathways for disabled talent. We also work closely with stakeholders to influence and evolve policy and practice, ensuring inclusion is reflected not only in what we say, but in how decisions are made and experienced across the organisation.
We are passionate about creating environments where people feel seen, supported and able to be themselves. For us, inclusion is about removing barriers, shifting mindsets and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.
