My name is Alena, and I work at EPAM, where I contribute to ESG initiatives that aim to make our world more inclusive, conscious, and connected.

I have a background in psychology, which shapes how I see people — not as roles or labels, but as complex, unique individuals with their own stories and strengths. I also live with visual impairment and ADHD, and I am a mother of two (plus two very opinionated cats). These parts of my life are not limitations — they are what taught me resilience, empathy, and the ability to keep moving forward, even when things are not easy.
I believe deeply in the power of community. I’ve seen how even the smallest step — a kind word, shared knowledge, or support at the right moment — can create meaningful change. And I believe just as strongly that giving up is not an option, even when the path feels difficult.
Through my work, I strive to help build a world where differences are understood, where people feel seen, and where we learn to support each other better. To me, it’s both a responsibility and a privilege to contribute to making our environment more human, more open, and more compassionate.
Because the world is diverse — and that’s exactly where its strength lies.
