Candice Guiste is a resilient entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Evolve Nation Academy a purpose-driven platform that champions women in business and the creative industries through training, live events, and inclusion-focused initiatives.
Her journey is one of strength, transformation, and vision. After losing her mother at just 10 years old, becoming a young mum, and surviving domestic violence, she rebuilt her life with fierce determination. She went on to earn a degree in Events Management and an LLM in Entertainment Law, using her experiences to fuel a career rooted in empowerment and impact.
Her background in media and events saw her thrive in radio, live music, and artist relations—hosting interviews, curating experiences, and appearing on platforms such as BBC Radio Manchester to share her story and expertise.
Through her organisation Evolve Nation Academy, she created the Women in Creative Industries Summit a touring event that explores themes of diversity, inclusion, culture, and equity. The summit has featured a range of influential speakers and guests including Big Brother’s Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, music icons Lisa Maffia and Paigey Cakey, as well as film directors Adi Alfa and Freddie Nwaka. These events serve as powerful spaces for dialogue, networking, and change.
The Academy also delivers skills-based training, mentorship programmes, and curated opportunities for women navigating creative and entrepreneurial spaces—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Blending her love for people, music, and the arts with a mission for social impact, Candice has become a respected voice in both business and creative circles. Her work continues to inspire women to rise above adversity, own their voice, and lead with authenticity.
