Having worked for Waltham Forest Council for a number of years, I am proud to play a role in cultivating an inclusive workforce culture for our staff. It is a privilege to work for a local authority that is committed to ensuring we are not only an employer of choice, but one that is representative of the community we serve at all levels. We have work to do, but I’m grateful for the steps we have taken so far and optimistic for the future.

Co-designing and leading on the Council’s three- year Inclusion Action Plan has brought a level of purpose to my career that I didn’t think was possible. I love the work that I do, who I do it with and the people we do it for.
