OVO Gives Back is our volunteering support for organisations that are important to us. Our people get up to 4 days to volunteer.
Despite recent challenges such as the energy crisis, we remained focused on our customers and our people.
The diversity of our community has grown steadily over the last 4 years and today, 16% of our people come from an ethnically diverse background, 44% are women, 1% are non-binary, 8% identify as LGBTIQ+ and 16% as neurodivergent.
Our employee engagement survey results have increased from 7.1 to 8.3 with 14 key drivers above the Peakon benchmark and our Belonging score, has grown from 7.5 to 8.1 giving us confidence what we’re doing is working and is helping us create a truly inclusive culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging and can really thrive at OVO
