Founded in 2006 by Jayne Little, recent Northern Power Women: Agent of Change winner, Skills 4 Ltd was established in response to the UK Government’s “Shaping a Fairer Future” report, to address the under-utilisation of women in the workplace. Through award-winning EDI training, Skills 4 addresses organisational inequities, specialising in the STEM sector. The dedicated team empower thousands of women and under-represented groups with the skills and confidence to advance their careers. The EMPOWER programme has trained 10,000+ individuals, with over 66% achieving promotions within a year. The THRIVE programme supports career development for all under-represented groups, levelling the playing field for diverse talent to thrive. Skills 4 also produces the ‘Moving the Dial’ Benchmarking Report to promote organisational accountability. The Skills 4 Alumni group provides a networking platform for continued learning and support.
