2024 Shortlisted Nominee
D&I Consultancy Award
With more than 20 years in broadcast journalism and management, the founder of Unheard Voice Consultancy Ltd was compelled to amplify the unheard and champion inclusion. Initially a side project, Unheard Voice became a full-time venture in 2020 after a pivotal moment involving a Black colleague’s censorship led to a decisive resignation. Previously serving as Director of Inclusion at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Unheard Voice’s founder understood how place and space design needed inclusive approaches. After achieving global accolades for DEI work, including Brandon Hall HRD Gold Medals, Unheard Voice refocused with renewed purpose. Now excelling in diverse sectors such as architecture and education, the consultancy prioritises Cultural Intelligence. Appointed to the International Advisory Council of the Institute of Business Ethics, Unheard Voice’s founder continues to advocate for inclusivity, ensuring every voice has a place to be heard.
