Outstanding Diversity Network Award
The WBD Disability Network at Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) champions an inclusive work environment for individuals with disabilities and long-term conditions. Achieving Disability Confident Leader accreditation in March 2024, the Network has implemented significant changes to enhance disability and neurodiversity inclusion. Partnering with Diversity Lab, WBD committed to increasing opportunities for disabled hires. It also joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative to support those with non-visible disabilities. Key achievements include marking Neurodiversity Celebration Week with visible support and launching a comprehensive Neurodiversity Toolkit and Sensory Kits. The Network also hosted impactful webinars, created accessible job adverts, and updated their website with detailed accessibility information. Recognised with multiple award nominations, including Outstanding Ability Network of the Year, the Network continues to drive meaningful change and promote inclusivity across the firm and legal profession.
