OUTSTANDING DIVERSITY NETWORK AWARD
The Women in RACHP Network, established in 2016 and formally launched within the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) that June is transforming representation and culture in the refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pump sector.
When the IOR initiated the network, just nine women were among several thousand members. Today, that number has grown nearly tenfold, with over 600 more engaging through social media.
The network has created visibility, belonging, and structural change through mentoring, outreach, and the landmark Women in Cooling Report, the first research to document lived experiences of women in the sector.
Women from the industry credit the network with helping to promote women to positions in the sector including the second female IOR president in 125 years.
By embedding inclusion into a traditionally male-dominated industry, the Women in RACHP Network is driving equality, innovation, and sustainable growth.
