The Group I&D Team at Anglo American is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where every individual can thrive. Central to this mission is their pioneering Domestic Violence (DV) Policy and Awareness Campaign, developed in response to tragic DV incidents in 2020. This sector-leading initiative addresses the “shadow pandemic” exacerbated by COVID-19, providing a comprehensive global response to DV. The policy, backed by expert guidance and endorsed by the Executive Leadership Team, includes clear reporting guidelines, support resources, and training for risk assessors. This approach not only aids those affected by DV but also ensures a safer, more inclusive work environment.
