Head of Diversity & Inclusion Award
Emilie is an established EDI leader with over 17 years’ experience across the arts, non-profit, financial services and retail sectors, most recently leading inclusion at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her career began by initiating the UK’s first British Sign Language Branch, establishing a lifelong approach of co-creating with communities to identify and remove systemic barriers. She’s developed a colleague network model over many years to effectively embed lived experience into strategy, risk, ethics and innovation- a model now taking off across different industries. Emilie is a systems designer and strategic planner, who creates practical, lasting change across the businesses she works with. She advises international boards, networks and creative labs, including Creative UK’s EDI board where she specialises in access and responsible AI. Colleagues describe her as someone who builds confidence and who makes people feel truly seen.
