Social Mobility Project Award
Leadership Through Sport & Business is a national social mobility charity tackling the deep injustice that talented young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are excluded from professional careers not through lack of ability, but lack of access. Evolving from sport‑based leadership programmes into a comprehensive employability and education model, LTSB provides structured pathways combining qualifications, coaching, pastoral support and high‑quality apprenticeships. Founded by David Pinchin, whose vision and investment transformed the charity into a nationally recognised organisation, LTSB partners with major employers to open doors that would otherwise remain closed. With regional hubs, industry‑aligned programmes and long‑term support, LTSB has helped 2,500 young people progress, with 70 percent securing meaningful employment. Its work dismantles systemic barriers, unlocks potential and ensures opportunity is determined by talent, not background.
