SEE Change Happen is a consultancy and we specialising in fostering inclusive cultures within organisations. Established in 2017, they offer a range of services designed to promote diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging (DEIB):

Joanne Lockwood, the founder, delivers keynote speeches, fireside chats, lunch & learns, and participates in panel discussions & webinars. Her talks address various DEIB topics, aiming to inspire and educate audiences on the importance of inclusivity.
Our workshops at SEE Change Happen conducts interactive, topic-centered workshops tailored to each organisation’s specific needs. These sessions focus on fostering a sense of belonging, addressing unconscious biases, and implementing practical strategies to create inclusive workplaces.
And our Consulting Services: The consultancy provides bespoke consulting services, including diversity audits, cultural assessments, and strategic planning. They work closely with organisations to develop positive working environments, reduce business risks, and enhance employee engagement through inclusive practices.

SEE Change Happen has extensive experience working with various sectors, including global corporations, social housing, education, public sector bodies, health and social care, hospitality, and human resources. Their primary objective is to ensure that positive people experiences result from engagement strategies and training, nurturing cultures that foster psychological safety and high levels of customer, candidate, and employee satisfaction.

Additionally, we provide LGBTQ+ support, specialising in transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming awareness. This includes support for individuals in the workplace, as well as guidance for their managers and co-workers, promoting understanding and inclusivity across all levels of an organisation.

Joanne is a thought leader in Inclusion and Belonging and now a CPD Accredited speaker now working alongside her fellow director and wife – Marie Manley we now delivery the highly popular fireside chat ‘One Transition, Two Perspectives, together – a real conversation starter – from when Marie’s husband became her wife. How it effected us both and how now we help others by telling our story to help them overcome adversity and build stronger more inclusive lives at home and at work. Here at SEE Change Happen we are always working on new content ideas – Awareness Days ideas for teams. Our monthly newsletter is informative and our weekly podcasts always have incredible individuals with amazing story’s to tell. Now our new venture is eLearning making it even easy to understand thought sometimes tricky topics of DEIB that some are not comfortable with talking about at work or in society – we are taking learning into theur own homes.

We are working hard to to create workplaces where diversity is celebrated, equity is prioritised, inclusion is standard, and belonging is felt by all. We want to work together to drive positive change and make your organisation a beacon of inclusivity. We are open to a conversation always and are aware of budget investments and on existing programme of DEIB events, but are always thinking #PositivePeople Experiences.

We have taken Joanne’s initial ideas of an DEIB consultancy and now working together and being married for nearly 38 years and gone through a Transgender journey that was very public, we strive to take this and Joanne’s grounding in business and work tirelessly to help others – organisations and teams all at different stages and are so pleased to have been nominated – ty
