Outstanding Diversity Network Award
Women@Manchester is a University‑wide network bringing together women from all roles and disciplines to learn from one another, build community and accelerate gender equity. Co‑chaired by Dr Lin Ma and Emma Shiels, the network champions an inclusive approach that welcomes trans and non‑binary colleagues, ensuring every woman across the institution feels safe, represented and able to contribute. Women@Manchester complements the University’s vibrant ecosystem of women’s networks, creating shared spaces for connection, career development and collective action. By amplifying women’s voices, strengthening belonging and supporting the conditions for success, the network is driving cultural change and shaping a more equitable future for all women at Manchester.
